You ever try to find a manager in a restaurant? It's not a job. It's a scavenger hunt. You check the office. Nothing. Kitchen? Gone. Bar? Maybe. No. At this point you're like, Should I check the parking lot? Because the one moment you need a manager, they vanish. And of course, it's never for something small. It's always, Hi, yes, we'd like to speak to a manager. Perfect. So now you're there. Smiling. Buying time. Mentally preparing a speech like, Great news! I am the manager now. Because after a while, you learn, you can't wait. You start solving things yourself. Fixing problems. Calming guests. Making decisions. And honestly, that's how you survive. Because by the time you actually find a manager, the problem either got solved, or turned into a Yelp review. Thank you.
