You're memorizing five tables, timing food like a NASA launch, pretending you didn't hear, This isn't what I ordered. even though it absolutely is. And somehow, you're also a therapist. Is the salmon good? I don't know, Karen. How are you feeling tonight? Meanwhile, the kitchen's on fire, emotionally. And Table 12 wants extra sauce, Table 8 is gluten-free except for dessert, and Table 5 just waved you down like they're hailing a taxi in New York. And after all that, people say, Wow, must be nice walking around all day. Yeah, walking. That's what we're doing.
